I am so sleepy the last 3 days--really strangely sleepy. I have taken to hibernating in the afternoons. The real bright spot of my days...? Reading PollyAnna to Emma. We agreed that it is our favorite read-aloud ever--which is actually not true at all--we just happen to love it more than anything we've read in the last 18 months. Which, sadly, doesn't amount to much. Reading Jane Eyre last Spring really ruined me for reading. Thank, Charlotte Bronte, thanks a lot.
Tonight was Sloppy Joes and Soccer for Emma. Don't we sound like a busy family TV commercial? I think so. Brandon and I tagged each other in the middle of the evening to pass off chidcare duties. Can't forget I'm livin' the dream here. (It can get away from you now and then.)
Just got an email from a friend who gave me a newsy update which included a new address and an explanation of why she and her cute new husband had moved. She's taken a job as an apprentice on a Farm on Bainbridge Island near Seattle and she and her husband moved into a tiny Westward-facing-stone's-throw-from-the-ocean apartment to be close to the farm. Sigh. I won't say anymore on that topic as I'm sure you already know what I'm thinking about it all.
M'kay...just want to say, as PollyAnna I'm sure would point out, how much I love my life.
